Most of us were thankful for a lie-in on Sunday
morning after two days of full-on activity. A scrumdiddlyuptious meal
from our excellent cooks, Gareth & Christa Davies, set us up for
another great day.
Fred Schaumkel led the
morning meeting, looking at the fact that true faith speaks, not hurtful
but helpful words.
The afternoon was spent
on a treasure hunt in native bush on the hillside behind the camp. The
two teams taking different routes met at the top, from where there are
panoramic views in all directions.
At the
evening meeting Stephen Turner led us in a consideration of God's
sovereignty in our lives, and the fact that all our plans are subject to
His will.
Before we watched a video on the
efforts of Jim Elliot and his friends to take the Gospel to the Auca
indians of Ecuador, we all burned off what little remaining energy we
had: a barn dance successfully did the job!
