Reformed Baptist Churches in New Zealand
(an interview with Dafydd Hughes)

In March 2000 Derek French from the Radio Ministries team at Grace Baptist Mission, UK, visited New Zealand to promote the work of the Mission. During his visit he interviewed Dafydd Hughes, the Pastor of Grace Baptist Church, about the work of that Church and the general Reformed Baptist scene in New Zealand.

Apologies are due to North Shore Baptist Reformed Church, which began in 1984, for failing to include them in the brief history of the developing Reformed Baptist Church scene. Also to Marchwiel Reformed Baptist Church in Timaru: unlike the other Reformed Baptist Churches in New Zealand which began as new works, MRBC developed from an existing general Baptist Church and gradually came to a Reformed Baptist position during the early 1990s.
